Bhasha Sinhala Dictionary is Sri Lanka's Official Sinhala-English Dictionary app for Android brought to you by Bhasha Lanka (Pvt) Ltd in partnership with Language Technology Research Laboratory, Sri Lanka.
Bhasha Dictionary provides you offline dictionary service for English to Sinhala word translations & online dictionary service for both English to Sinhala & Sinhala to English word translations. Online dictionary also provides you trilingual search results in Sinhala, English & Tamil when available.
In order to use Sinhala to English dictionary you don't need to type in Sinhala, but you can type in Singlish (Sinhala transliterated in English) just as you type SMSs in Sinhala.

* Search English words by Voice or text
* Search Sinhala words by typing in Sinhala or Singlish
* Get Offline English to Sinhala translations
* Get Online Sinhala to English translations
* Get Online English to Sinhala translations with tringual (Sinhala-Tamil-English) search results
* You can prefer whether to download offline dictionary database & you can download it anytime
* You can prefer to use online service or offline service or both
* Recent words are saved & suggested when typing
* You can also maintain a favorite word list
Note: When you have enabled both Online & Offline services, Bhasha Dictionary will first search in Offline database & only if it is failed, it'll search on Online database. However when you translate from Sinhala to English it always search in Online database.
Known Issues: Voice search functionality is not working on some devices specially on Custom ROMs.
