A Table Top Football game with lots of extra features, a clock, scoring, & etc.
Baby-boomers (those born between 1946-1964) would remember when a table top football game was a good fun way for friends to pass the time. Family and friends would get together at a table, fold a piece of paper into the shape of a diamond, kick it back and forth across the table and have a fun football game. The edge of the table was the goal line and two fingers served as the goal posts for kicking a field goal. This game, Table Top Football Xtra (TTFX), recaptures the spirit of this simple but very fun game with a lot of extras. However, the fun and excitement are taken to another level. Instead of a diamond shaped folded piece of paper, an actual football sprite is flung down the field until someone score (half of the football is over the edge of the table or the goal line). Each team has four downs to score. A full game is four quarters, which ranges from 48 minutes 60 seconds to 8 minutes and 60 seconds. If the score is tied at the end, the clock resets to allow for four minutes of overtime play. There is a timeout button to pause the game at anytime, and a button to start (restart) the game. As in table top football, a touchdown is determined by how much of the ball is over the edge of the table, or over the goal line after the ball stops moving. The game can be played with two people or one person can play against an avatar player dressed in the colors of his NFL team. The game has two views (table top or football field view).
The first step is to prepare for the game by choosing options in setup. The set up consist of choosing the home and guest team: choosing how many minutes and seconds to play: choosing to play a person or an avatar. The owner of the game is always the hoe team. The team that wins the random coin toss has first possession of the ball. The other team automatically gets the ball first after halftime. Choose your favorite NFL team and play against another NFL team. After setup press play and press the game clock or fling the football to start the game clock. Although TTFX is fun and simple to play, it is imperative that you read the instructions to familiarize yourself with and appreciate the many extras.
This games has a lot of extras: an adjustable game clock, adjustable scores, downs, sound in the background and sound that announces half-time, and when a team scores, as well as penalties when too much time is wasted after the ball comes to a stop. If in the last three minutes, the Avatar player is winning the game, he will stall before hikes to run down the game clock (after first down the ball must be hiked within 12 seconds between downs). Scores, and downs are adjustable. The ball can be moved manually, particularly useful if it does not reset to it's proper place after a field goal or failed attempt.
This is a fun table top football game with the buster, boomer, and builder generations in mind, but it is a lot of fun for anyone irregardless of age! Due to the shape of a football field it can only be played in the portrait mode.

It was developed specifically on a galaxy note 4, Galaxy note 8, and a Kindle Fire HDx 8.9, but should working on any compatible android phone with medium to high-end graphics.
