Arema Cronus FC (formerly called Arema Malang) is a soccer club based in Malang, East Java, Indonesia. Arema was founded on August 11, 1987, Arema has the nickname "Singo Edan". They played at the Kanjempuan Stadium and Gajayana Stadium. Arema is a city team from Persema Malang. In the 2010-11 season, the launching event used the name Arema FC, but two days later returned to the name Arema Indonesia.
Since attending the national football, Arema has become an icon of Malang Raya residents (Malang City, Malang Regency, Batu City) and surrounding areas. As an embodiment of Arema's symbol, almost in every corner of the city to small alleys there are statues and pictures of lions. Their supporters are called Aremania and Aremanita (for female supporters)
