Search the depths for Gold and Glory!
Gold and Glory is a dungeon exploring adventure game. You search rooms for treasure to add to your retirement fund (no one wants to work forever). However, after entering, you realize that you must find a major artifact before you can leave. It is found in a chest, sack, or box - you'll know it when you see it. But you'll have to explore room after room until you find it, then find your way back out.
Rather than relying on weapons and leveling up, you are convinced that your backpack is better served as a storage container. So you left all of your weapons and tools outside, except for your trusty torch. After all, nothing can really live down here in the dark, right? Well, if you did run into anything, then creatures scuttling on the ground will steal gold, and one kind might actually steal the artifact from you after you find it. Also, anything that flies could put out your torch. But find some fire and you can relight it. And who needs a med kit anyway, you shouldn't be in there that long... probably.
So, couple of ways to lose: die, or lose the artifact after finding it. Only way to win is to return to the exit with the artifact. Gold and treasure along the way will turn into a point score for the leaderboards. After all, the game is called Gold _and_ Glory. You can also enjoy some achievements as you play the game.
