This year I'm in the Philippines! The Philippines is a completely different country than my last travel destinations. The Philippines are a lot of islands. I visited Jocelyn on one of the islands, on Mindanao. She lives with her family directly on the water! Actually even in the water because the house is on stilts! Jocelyn comes from a fishing family and it is important to have direct access to the sea. They live exactly where the Davao river flows into the sea.
