Draw a road for your car and avoid all the obstacles while getting it to the finish. Collect coins and try to refill your ink container by picking up ink. Rubber icon lowers your ink level and decreases your chances of getting to the finish. In the shop, you can buy new cars for the coins you have collected. Each car has different on-road performance.
