ShareLight allows you to convert and resize images for saving on our data plan and on the receiver's . It works in different ways:
* As a standalone application, able to select phone photos , resize them to your liking and save them, or send them through any application on the device.
* As an intermediate application between your photo gallery and any other available application.
For example, when viewing an image, you can click on 'Share via' and select ShareLight, which will resize the image and then send it to the target application with much less weight.
Or for email attachment . After clicking 'Attach file', select ShareLight . You will be prompted to select an image and then a target quality and resolution. The converted image will be automatically added as attachment.
An image converted by ShareLight can wheight up to 10 times less without losing apparent quality ; and up to 30 times less, decreasing quality if you consider it enough.
* From any messenger application like WhatsApp, Kik messenger , ChatOn , Line ... You can request a converted image to ShareLight. It also works with Facebook , Twitter , Foursquare. In short, any application that can manage images may use ShareLight .
It has a help menu and multiple settings, to be upgraded in future updates .
ShareLight will not modify the original images, it will create a new image with the indicated settings . You can try all the settings you want without losing the original picture.
When you send a image , the converted image is stored in a folder on the root of the device, named the same as the application.
When you save an image, it is stored with a new name in the same folder as the original one.
