NCL Reader is an Android version of e-book reading software provided by the National Library's "E-Book and Magazine Deposit Reading Service: EPS for short". It is an action reading software that can borrow e-books for free.
In August 1998, the Executive Yuan approved the "Digital Publishing Industry Development Strategy and Action Plan" to actively promote the development of my country's digital industry. One of the key items of the project is to promote the entry of 100,000 Chinese e-books into the market to subsidize the issuance of digital publishing products. The plan is to subsidize the publishing house for publishing e-books by the News Bureau and submit it to the permanent collection of the National Library.
In order to implement the legal deposit of publications and cooperate with this action plan, the National Library has established the "E-book and magazine deposit and reading service" to accept application for international standard numbers and delivery of digital publishings by publishing houses, government agencies, schools, individuals and other sectors, and organize and manage them to provide inquiries and reading and utilization from all walks of life.

It is a mobile reading software that can borrow e-books for free. You can borrow e-books as long as the member account and password of the National Library. What is more convenient is: after downloading e-books, whether they are connected or offline, they are not restricted by the Internet, and enjoy the fun and convenience of mobile reading at any time.
NCL Reader provides cross-vehicle reading services, and users can choose to use Android lithopaedic computers/mobile phones, PCs or iPads/iPhone to experience seamless cloud reading. NCL Reader supports reading in a variety of e-book formats, including multimedia e-books and EPUB formats, and provides intimate reading functions such as custom classification, catalog menus, thumbnail preview, straight single page/horizontal double page display, high-resolution page zoom, audio and video playback, personal bookmark level and other thoughtful reading functions.
