What are the ways of accessing your Medicover application on your mobile?
In order to access this application, you must, first of all, be registered as a patient in the Medicover database. The number of patients allocated (MRN) represents the username that will allow you to access the application.
In order to get in possession of the password, please introduce yourself to the reception of any Medicover Clinic in Bucharest or the country. After presenting a valid identity card and checking the correctness
The data registered in our system, the staff at the reception of the clinic will present the rules of use of the application and will issue the password necessary to access it.
The first password, generated on the occasion of your visit to Medicover Clinic, will be composed initially from 8 alpha-numeric characters. During the process of generating the respective password, you will be asked to type a 4 -digit code on a special keyboard. This code cannot be seen by the personnel from the Medicover reception and will not be printed on the regulation of use of the application. The computer system will generate simultaneously the remaining 4 characters that will form the initial password.

To have access to the application, use:
- the number of Medicover Patient (MRN),
- the individual password issued from the clinic, consisting of 8 characters.
In order to protect your personal data from the access by unauthorized persons, at the first login in the application, the password issued from the clinic will be changed with a new password. The new password must contain at least 8 characters.
What are the ways of accessing your Medicover application your mobile account?
For the use of the application for the mobile phone, you need to have a valid account for online Medicover , a complete access to your account, direct access from the Medicover site, the "My Account" section or directly https://online.medicover.ro.
Who can use your Medicover application your mobile account?
The application can be used by all Medicover patients registered in our system, who have designated the number of patient (MRN) and took from the Medicover clinic access password. The use of the application is free.
Authentication and authorization to use the application
Medicover uses special security measures to ensure maximum data protection to the users of the Medicover online application. In addition to the mechanisms of coding the data you transmit, using the 128 SSL security protocol, the central authorization system applies the procedure for granting a unique access password in the application, on the occasion of the visit to the Medicover Clinic. The initial password consists of 2 parts: one is automatically generated by the system, and the second one is selected by the user and only known by it. To minimize the risk of unauthorized access to your data, at the first use of the application you will mandatory to change the individual password. Also, you have the option to change the password permanently, whenever you want.
The SSL security protocol is a program operated by a server, which uses data coding protocols. It allows the secure exchange of the information between the server and the computer, thus eliminating the possibility that unauthorized persons can access the stored information.
Important note: Please note that the programming and medical documents issued following it will be generated on the patient number of the person accessing the application. In case you want to establish an appointment for another person (child), you need to use the patient number of the person.
