The Book of Enoch (or Henoc's book, abbreviated 1 Enoch) is an intertage book, which is part of the canon of the Bible of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church but is not accepted as canonical by the other Christian churches, despite having been found in some of the codices of the Septuagint (Vatican Codex and Papyros Chester Beatty). The Beta Israel (Ethiopian Jews) include it in the Tanach, unlike the other current Jews, which exclude it.
