Drug Cards is an app for doctors, nurses and allied health professionals working in Anaesthesia, Critical Care, and Emergency Medicine. Information on key drugs used in these areas is never more than a few taps away.
This free Lite version gives access to a selection of drugs in the database, so that users can evaluate prior to purchasing the full version. Drug Cards Lite has the same functionality as the full app, only with fewer drugs and Glossary terms.
Each listing contains extensive information on each drug including:
* Indications for use
* Pharmacology - including pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic data
* Dosing - including routes of administration. Separate info for Adults, Children, Elderly, Renal Failure etc
* Effects - categorised by body system (e.g. cardiovascular, neurological, endocrine)

* Cautions and Contraindications
* Pearls Of Wisdom - useful tips and interesting facts
The app is intended to be used as a pocket reference and a teaching tool - abbreviations and key terms are linked to an interactive Glossary with definitions and explanations of important concepts.
The Lite version doesn't receive drug database or glossary updates, or access to new content which is released on a regular basis. Upgrade to the full version for access to over 40 drugs with more on the way!
