Old Testament Bible Book
Old Testament containing the Pentateuch, the first five books of the Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy) give special attention to God's relationship with Israel, his chosen people and one of the main aspects of that relationship is the Lord's Covenant with Israel, which pledges to be the God of that people which it has taken as its private possession and demands religious observance of divine commandments and laws.
