The growing desire among the Welsh to more acquaintances with the English language is one of the hopeful signs of the times. For every one of our fellow nations who understood English at the beginning of this century, it is probable that he said that twenties if hundreds do not understand it now. But it is clear that no one can master foreign language without the help of dictionaries. This is a cheap practical dictionary for the multitude they can't train for more ones.
But although many of the obsolete words have been left out, yet it contains every word in common practice in speaking and writing.
